There are 5 things you need to open a Business. There are definitely more but we wanted to hone in on some core topics we believe are most important when starting from the very beginning.

1. Training/Education to Open a Business

You hear this as #1 and say, of course, you’d say that, but don’t think this way. We really do find value in getting information about the field you are opening a business in. Too many times people fail just because they did not invest in growing their knowledge about that field.

Rather it be a convention, class or 4 year degree, education in the field you are in is important. You don’t need to be top of the line pro but you need the parameters of success in that field.

2. Mentors for Opening a Business

Mentors can be hard to find, we know this. How often do you come across someone who wants to hold your hand while you grow your business? rarely, if ever. In our classes we give out a few sites, one, in particular, is Micomentor.com where you can find mentors in many different industries.

Mentorship can be a lifelong partnership that’s why in our Courses we become the mentors of our students and help them with whatever they need. Check our reviews, talk to students who have asked us for help, they will never meet a closed door. We are always there to help.

3. Tools

Depending on the industry you are opening a business in tools can be a huge chunk or a small chunk of costs to start. We can tell you this, do your research! Don’t buy the first thing you see. Too many times we see people make 1 or 2 searches online and buy top dollar items that they did not need.

In our classes, we provide every grad with a take-home pack of tools and in our Device Master Course, it’s much more than normal. You will get tools from BOTH courses.

4. Goals

We could probably go on for days about goal settings. Michelle and I are hard core believers in goals and goal setting. We both have our own processes of goal setting, but no way is right or wrong.

Set goals for yourself, and don’t label ANY unrealistic. The very label YOU give it can prevent it from happening. You need to write your goals no matter how big and work on believing them.

5. Knowledge to gain customers

So for many of you opening a business includes a budget for a marketing company. To you, I say, make sure the company has experience withy our industry. For the rest of you who plan to do this alone, you need to LEARN. You need to stop whatever you do in your “free time” and explode it with videos of information how to market.

If you do not plan to hire a company then you have a lot of learning to do. Many times I hear, “I’ve owned businesses I know how to market”. While we apricate that, you may be confused, different industry’s may have different needs to reach clients.

At CellBotics we do our best to teach students this while in class and provide help after. We even can build a website, manage ads and so much more for our grads.

The fact you are watching this video or reading this blog is a sign hat you are on the right path; even more so if you finished! Half the battle is sticking to something, most cant even finish a video or blog so commend yourself.
