The latest buzzword in the Information Technology field is the (IoT) Internet of Things. What is the Internet or Things? “The internet of things, or IoT, is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. These Things (Cell-Phones; Tablets; Laptops; Workstations; Desktops; Servers; Printers; Point of Sales equipment and Network Infrastructure etc…) are the physical components that connect us to the world of technology!

Facts

With all these peripherals; According to Gartner, 25 billion connected devices will be in use by 2020. These include everything from home automation systems and autonomous vehicles to children’s toys and home refrigerators. What happens when users can’t connect these devices to their networks? Who will they contact? Who Services the Internet of Things?
