Owning a Cell Phone Repair Business and what does it take? This is a loaded question and really this just scrapes the top of beginning to own any business not just a Cell Phone Repair Shop. I will write more blogs addressing just opening a shop so keep an eye out for them. I’m going to try and point out the Top 5 requirements needed to start and talk about them in some detail. 1. Mind Set

• So this is probably the #1 thing I find wrong with people who don’t reach their goals and you’ll notice I didn’t say fail? I don’t say fail because everyone’s success is different so in reality, your “failure” could be the next’s success. I want to make this clear; your mindset has to be right for you to reach your meaning of Success. Ill create another post just about this because there is so much you can do to get into the right mindset and wrong one. Ill be sure to recommend books and people I follow to get my mind set where it needs to be.

2. Time

• Yes, time, you need to be able to put time into your business even when money is not being returned for your time and effort. When you own a business its the long term goals. Now with that being said it is much more easier to turn a profit quicker in Cell Phone Repair and Computer Repair then I’ve seen in many other industries.

3. Money

• Yes that old saying you need money to make money is sort of true. You don’t need to be a millionaire or even in a high income bracket. You do need to be willing to put a little of your hard earned money into your business. Also, to not be afraid to loose it; this goes back to mind set. you don’t need to much in terms of opening a business. If you are starting from home a $2000 investment (includes training cost) will work. If you want a Retail space $20,000+ is recommended and can go much higher depending on over head and other factors.

4. Dedication

• This is clearly obvious; if you give up you simply wont make it. The life of an Entrepreneur is a complete up and down daily drama sometimes. We live for it; it is unlike anything I’ve ever done in my life and I’m so adapted now that I know no other way to live. I remember clocking in for someone not so long ago, 2009ish to be exact. I recall the co-workers; ones I love and miss too this day and the ones who made me feel like a high schooler being bullied day in and out. I recall a boss who i loved and then the company being sold and getting one who I hated. I recall waking up everyday wanting more; thinking wow I could have so much time to do NOTHING. If only I were self employed. HAHAHAHAHA Little did I know id work 10 times harder; but love it SO MUCH MORE (most days).

5. Contacts

• This usually can be gained through trial and error or a good Google search but not in the Cell Phone Repair and Computer Repair Industries. Finding someone who sells used iPads or iPhones cheaper than EBay or finding how to become a wholesaler or finding where to buy the top quality parts or how to advertise successfully or how to set up at events and get people to stop or how to integrate with your community all come from contacts. Knowing who’s who in the industry. You would think these two industry’s where so BIG but believe it or not; these who of the who make it very small.
